NON AFFILIATION POLICY
Purpose and Background This policy is designed to provide an understanding of issues surrounding the selection of registered participants of One on One Sport programs in other sporting teams and organisations. Policy Scope & Procedure Participation in One on One Sport programs is open to participants of all skills and abilities, where they meet the individual program requirements (i.e. age). One on One Sport is not affiliated with any other sporting team(s) or community organisations. Participation in a One on One Sport program does not guarantee selection in these teams and One on One Sport takes no responsibility for the results of athlete selection in aforementioned teams. While One on One Sport endeavours to improve the skill of all participants individual results, selections and achievements may vary.
PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY
Purpose and Background This policy is designed to provide an understanding of issues surrounding the acquisition and display of images of registered participants of One on One Sport. It also serves as an administrative reference in relation to the management of photography and videography by any person at One on One Sport programs, events and matches. Policy Scope & Procedure In Australia there is no law restricting photography or videography of people including children in public spaces as long as the images are NOT: - Indecent (such as ‘upskirt’ or ‘downblouse’ photographs taken covertly in change rooms or toilets); - Being used for voyeurism or made for the purpose of observing and visually recording a person’s genital or anal region; - Protected by a court order (e.g. child custody or witness protection); - Defamatory; or - Being for commercial purposes (person’s likeness is used to endorse or entice people to buy a product). The publishing of a photograph or image can from time to time be used either inappropriately or illegally. Images of a child (including your own child) if photographed in a provocative and sexual manner can contravene Criminal Codes and censorship laws. One on One Sport requires the privacy of others to be respected and prohibits the use of camera phones, videos and cameras inside changing areas, showers and toilets. One on One Sport will only use appropriate images of a child, relevant to netball and depicting the child suitably clothed in a manner that promotes participation in netball. When using a photo of a child One on One Sport will not name or identify the child or display personal information such as residential address, email address or telephone numbers without gaining written consent from the parent/guardian. One on One Sport will not display information about hobbies, likes/dislikes, school etc as this information has the potential to be used as ‘grooming tools’. Photography and video footage is only taken by One on One Sport at sanctioned events and matches for three purposes: - Player/Coach/Umpire training and development; - One on One Sport promotion and publicity; and/or - Participants and family use. Indoor venues such as sport centres may already have particular photography/video restrictions or guidelines in place which One on One Sport, as a user of the centre, is required to follow. It is recommended that staff and volunteers of One on One Sport sign an acknowledgement that they are aware that all images and video footage taken may be used for legitimate purposes by One on One Sport. This policy applies to all One on One Sport sanctioned events. Exceptions to Freedom to Photograph There are specific instances in law where the taking of any image is banned. Such instances generally relate to child custody matters, wards of the state, restraining orders and witness protection. It is also possible that from time to time other circumstances may also preclude the taking of any image of an individual. Where such orders are in place it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian or individual to notify One on One Sport including where appropriate the provision of a confidential copy of the order. In such cases One on One Sport will use its best endeavours to prevent the taking of such images. Photography for Publication or Commercial Use Where a photographer / videographer has been contracted by One on One Sport to acquire images of individuals or teams for the purpose of selling images to participants or interested persons, the contractor is required to be suitably identified and provide their Blue Card issued by Queensland Public Safety Business Agency. Where a contractor has been engaged One on One Sport has the obligation to advise the contactor of any limitations as prescribed by a court order or law. Photography for Private Use There are no restrictions on parents, guardians and/or family members taking photos or video footage of their children participating in One on One Sport sanctioned events provided the images are for personal use and do not encroach on the limitations as described in Exceptions to Freedom to Photograph. Equally there are no restrictions on officials (including coaches, umpires and administrators) taking images for coaching purposes, umpire development or general publicity provided Exceptions to Freedom to Photograph is observed. Inappropriate Photography Where an individual is believed to be inappropriately photographing any participant or staff member of One on One Sport, we will do the following: - Inform venue representatives; - Ask the individual to cease taking photos or video footage; and - If the individual does not cease call the local Police.

If a participant chooses to tape their jewellery for the above reasons, they do so at their own risk and release One on One Sport and its directors, partners, employees, contractors and agents (the “staff” from all liability or responsibility whatsoever for personal injury, illness, property loss and/or damage resulting from wearing jewellery.
DISABILITY INCLUSION POLICY
Our Commitment One on One Sport welcomes all members of the community, regardless of their abilities. We will include people with disability in our programs in both playing and non-playing roles to the greatest extent that we can. We will endeavour to make One on One Sport as accessible as possible, based on our state sports policy on inclusion, the ability of individuals involved in our programs, the type and level of competition (e.g., junior versus senior competition and social versus pennant) they want to join and our capacity to make modifications that promote inclusion. What We Will Do - Put people first, focus on what they can do and find out how they want to participate; - Ask each individual – and their parents if the participant is a child – for their advice about what modifications would help them to participate; - Where possible, make adjustments to our coaching, equipment, rules or changing our playing environment (e.g. changing to more accessible venues); - Be honest and explain if certain modifications or adjustments are not currently possible; - Communicate with people and share program information in appropriate ways and formats; - Expect all participants and staff of One on One Sport to accept and welcome people with disability; - Make sure people of all abilities are included in our social activities and are recognised for their contribution and achievement; - Have strong policies to ensure that people can play sport and participate in our programs without discrimination, harassment or bullying; - Provide information about other options for participation outside our programs; for example, letting people know about sports that are primarily or only for people with disability, or clubs where major modifications have been made to increase opportunities for participation. What We Ask You To Do If you have a disability: - Tell us what we can do to help include you in our programs; - Understand that we will do our best to make any necessary adjustments or modifications; and - Talk to us if you have any concerns or ideas to help us make One on One Sport more inclusive.
